a wine for vegetarians

I was drinking Nederburg Pinotage 2007 (South Africa) last night.  It was ok. At the time I was making a salad, and whenever I cook, I drink. At one point, I picked up three strands of sprouts, ate them, and followed it with a sip of the wine. Oh my. The wine was transferred into something much better. It’s earthiness came out. Its tannins turned to fruit. I was amazed not at only how good it tasted but that it only took three sprout strains to transform it from ok to wonderful. I then tried the wine with a sliver of beet. This was also a worthy complement and different from the sprouts. It went well with the whole salad I made, which included sautéed mushrooms, red pepper, onions, and tofu, and honey-sautéed carrots, plus feta, beets, and, of course, the magical sprouts.

So, I am recommending this for vegetarian meals, specifically meals with lots of vegetables.//
